Termites are associated with timber. They eat timber, live in timber and are always looking for timber.
So you wouldn't think that a pile of bricks would be a good home. Alas, it appears that like one of the three little pigs, this colony decided to make their home outbof bricks.
It just goes to show how ingenious these tiny creatures are.
