Cockroaches - Yuck!

July 25, 2014 Juan Broncano

This little ripper is an American Cockroach (Periplaneta americana) that came out during a spider treatment. This particular cockroach is quite daunting because of it's size, but they are generally found outside and feed off anything that they can find as they are omnivorous. American cockroaches generally live in subfloor spaces and other confined spaces where moisture and/or water is available. They may venture indoors during cooler months looking for your warm home to keep them toasty. Whilst certainly a pest, these aren't as prolific as the German Cockroaches commonly seen indoors (Kitchens are the most common), and don't pose as much of a health risk as the German cockroaches.

Termites are what we do, and we're always learning. We often come across interesting infestations, triumphal termite tubes and exotic eradications. To keep you up to date with what's happening in the termite world, please follow our Blog posts. Don't worry, we like photos too! Our blog posts are mostly visual, so you can see what we're going on about rather than just talking about it.
