If you're getting a termite inspection then you want your inspector to do more than just shine a torch through a manhole and say "yup, looks good to me!" Getting deep into the recesses of a roof void is required to discover termite damage. (Even then, it's not so easy!) We often spend hours tracking down the exact location and entry points of termites!
The damage found in the roof truss was found at the furthest point away from the manhole!
This damage cannot be easily found until an adventurous inspector goes on the hunt!
