How big a gap to termites need to get through a crack in a slab? Will the slab in your home crack enough to let termites in?

When poured correctly, a concrete slab makes an excellent Termite Barrier. The Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia carried out a study on how effective concrete slabs are at keeping termites out, and how much cracking is required to allow termites in.
